In July 2013, Maxus Hong Kong commissioned the Public Opinion Programme (POP) at the University of Hong Kong to conduct this “Survey on Budget Airline (Low Cost Carrier) in Hong Kong”, which targeted at Cantonese speaking HK citizens aged 18 or above. The survey was specifically designed to gauge Hong Kong people’s opinion on budget airline.


The survey questionnaire was designed independently by POP after consulting Maxus Hong Kong, all fieldwork operations, data collection and analysis were also carried out independently by POP, and POP would take full responsibility for all the findings reported herewith. The survey methodology and results are open to the public.
